Fantastic

FantasticMag recently featured RUFSKIN in a fabulous "bondage" inspired editorial. Straps and buckles under suits and with swimwear created an awesome black and white story by Vikram Pathak. In an attempt to let our readers know a bit more about our retailers worldwide, we will be featuring a certain store from time to time.  First up is MESH, right here in San Diego in the community known as Northpark.

Enjoy a little Q&A from the store owner, Michael Delgado. (pictured above wearing his BIANCO jeans)

1. Give us a short history of your business. Mesh has been located in the heart of Northpark in San Diego since we opened our doors in 2006. We've always carried a unique selection of streetwear and contemporary brands for men and women but we also love to feature local artists and work with brands that are based in San Diego.

2. Tell us where we may find you out on a weekend? Gosh, there's so much to do I rarely end up at the same place twice in a month. If I'm feeling gay I'll hit up Rich's for dancing or Pec's for some pool. I have a fair amount of friends who dj throughout SD so if we're trying to catch one of their sets it's usually Airport Lounge or U31. But, there's no better afterparty than one that ends up in my hot tub. 

3. Describe a trend going on right now you see your customers picking up. The guy that has been wearing skinny jeans the last few years is finally ready for bootcut again! I've been living in my RUFSKIN "Bianco" jeans since I first got them a few weeks ago. It's fitted in the seat and thigh but has just the right leg opening on the bottom. I also think (or hope) that most guys are done with over-embellished shirts and denim. Enough with the rhinestones, studs, and embroidery already.

Because right before "White Party" this weekend, I was in the mood for something.... darker.
